Multimedia Course (PNPA)
The Civil Relations Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines through Media and Civil Affairs Group conducted 10-day Multimedia Production Seminar at Philippine National Police Academy, Silang, Cavite on January 21 to 31, 2023.
It was facilitated by MCAG Commander MAJ CENON PANCITO III and his staff wherein forty members of the PNPA MASIDTALAK CL of 2023 and another thirty underclass cadets underwent the said training to gain first-hand experience with the recently established Multimedia Center, the first and only multimedia center of the PNPA.
Guest lecturers from AFP Radio DWDD including TSg John Albert G Sablon, PAF, S1JO Mark Jade A Autencio. PFC John Mark C Molina, PA, Pvt Rolly P Natividad Jr., PA, ASJO Kristopher Rocky S Kabigting JR., PN, ASPH Phillipe Greg C Delgado, PN, ASJO Beatriz F Amigable, PN, ASJO Shaira Mae Rivera, PN, Ms. Rofhedein C Suzon, CHR, Mr. Nick L Echievarria, CHR and Mr. Ferdinand B Ponce, CHR tackled news writing and reporting, radio programming, script writing, video and photo editing, videography, photography, radio technical operations, Journalism, and drone operation.
Moreover, cadets had the chance to tour The Manila Times, the oldest running newspaper in the Philippines. They were able to meet some of the production team and learned new insights on the innovations on the field of mass media.
Its ultimate goal is to fill knowledge, to skill gaps of the participating cadets and to transform them into creative, effective, and excellent communicators both verbal and non-verbal in a new and innovative platform.
Furthermore, CRSAFP Commander BGEN ARVIN LAGAMON PA visited the PNPA and reminded the cadets that in the line of service as public servants, it doesn’t matter what achievements they get, but what matters the most is how they help the people whom you pledged to serve and protect.
On the other hand, PNPA Director PMGEN ERIC E NOBLE developed and organized the said seminar to serve as a core for breakthroughs in information transmission and cadet involvement across several media platforms both inside and outside the academy.
